Job Description

A well established BAFE and SSAIB accredited Fire Alarm company based in Nottingham is looking to takee a Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer.
They operate under the BSI Kitemark delivering the highest stranded of service to the clients based in Nottingham.

They believe that great staff build a great company and are looking for a Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team.

The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
Some electrical understanding or experience.
Engineering knowledge would be an advantage

Key Requirements
Carry out system maintenance, fault finding, attend emergency callouts and reactive works predominately for Fire Alarm, Emergency Light, Access Control
Complete electronic worksheets in real time daily
Complete monthly timesheets/mileage/expense claims.
Comply with policies relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Technical Compliance issues that affect the customer and employees.
Whilst on site update the site logbooks with details of all work carried out.
Maintain company issued equipment in good condition and fit for purpose. Report immediately any damaged, stolen or missing company issued equipment to the office.
Ensure good timekeeping and housekeeping at all times, making sure you are setting the right example.
Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company employee handbook.
Advise the office of progress/concerns on any contract/site you are involved with.
Correctly represent the company in company issued clothing.
Attend training courses to extend knowledge and skillset of various manufacturers products.

We Require:
Lives within a commutable distance from our Nottingham offices.
Full UK Driving Licence
GCSE or equivalent (Required)
