Installation Engineer

An established Building Services client of Security Fire Recruitments, is looking for 2 Fire & Security Installation Engineers.

In 2023 my client celebrated 35 years of “Service Excellence” within the construction industry.

They offer services that cover all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical design, estimation, installation, testing & commissioning Including PPM, refurbishment, fit out and new build through both traditional and design and build avenues.

In line with their growth plans are pleased to announce the formation of our Fire & Security Division. The new team undertake Fire, Security & Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, DDA & General Alarm Systems. This addition also forms the basis for Annual & Preventative Maintenance Contracts.

Duties
Installation and testing to the relevant codes of practice
Excellent communication through all levels of the contract chain
Able to manage installation from start up through to completion
Diagnose faults using a pragmatic approach
Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that installations meet design specifications.
Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
Solid mechanical knowledge related to building systems and construction practices.
Experience with system design, particularly in relation to fire and security applications.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in installation processes.
Understanding of electrical systems as they pertain to fire safety equipment.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

£35,000.00-£42,500.00 basic salary, company vehicle, Monday to Friday plus overtime.
