Technical Support Operative – Gloucestershire

My client is one of the UK’s largest stockists of natural and smoke ventilation equipment. They supply and fit throughout the UK in various building types including schools, shopping centres, museums and apartment buildings. 

They are looking for an experienced individual to join the technical team. The individual will be responsible for providing technical support over the phone for our electrical product range. The role is based at their offices in Gloucestershire, some site work will also be necessary.

Responsibilities include:

Telephone support for customers on site

Product assembly

Product testing

Inspection of faulty products

Keeping up to date with knowledge of latest smoke regulations, building regulations and safety standards within our industry

Ensure that customer service is to the highest standard

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:

Site experience

Good communication skills

Computer literate

Knowledge of smoke/natural ventilation industry

Able to communicate and work in a team environment.

Full driving license

This would be a great opportunity for an engineer to become officed based.
