Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer – South West England 

We are looking for an experienced sprinkler maintenance engineer to join our existing mobile work force to cover the Southwest and Wales areas with some work in London required. Candidate to be customer focused and be able to provide an exceptional service experience.

The main responsibilities of the role include 

·       Carry out routine maintenance on commercial and residential sprinkler systems including weekly testing, flow switch testing, hydrant testing, dry riser inspections, annual drain downs etc

·        Attending emergency call outs, fault finding, carrying out repairs

·        Liaise and communicate with site contacts and key stake holders and be able to articulate well on the outcome of the visit

·        Report on any issues found and be able to advise to the office on any remedial works needed

Requirements include 

·        Previous sprinkler maintenance experience although training can be given if a basic understanding can be demonstrated

·        Must hold a valid UK driving licence

·        Be prepared to travel

·        Be prepared to be part of an out of hours emergency call out rota

The salary will be in the region of £25k – £35k pa depending on experience. Over time will be available. The call out rota will be 2 weeks every 3 months at £15 a day. The van will be a Ford transit or connect auto and can be used privately with in reason, it will be tracked but not monitored. Travel time is allowed for when planning the works
