Contracts Manager – Cambridgeshire based – MUST BE FIRE ALARM TECHNICAL

You will lead a team of individuals (8-10) who are responsible for the arranging of engineer’s service schedule and repairs to meet the Contracts Compliance KPIs.

Through your pro-activeness, leadership and drive for results, you will ensure our customers will consistently be given a high-quality service and that we meet our company targets.

Key Duties

Be the key contact for the customer – creating a healthy working relationship through effectively managing the operational needs of the contract and handling queries promptly.

Addressing customer complaints in co-ordination with the Head of Fire and Security s and Commercial department to reach resolution within agreed SLAs.

Production of weekly reports for the Head of Fire and Security with key KPIs (i.e., job status, servicing updates, invoicing).

Monitoring of teams in ensuring invoices generated promptly and the process is concluded within agreed timeframes.

Organising quoted works to produce quick turn-arounds for the customer and for billing – ensuring the right engineer with the right skills and parts can service the job as efficiently as possible.

Being the role-model and escalation point for the team as their direct line manager assigned to the contract, demonstrating what ‘good’ looks like through coaching and support, and regular performance discussions to enable feedback to be shared with a viewpoint of continuous personal development (and addressing under performance through best practice and the support from the HR department).

This job requires a technical Fire background coupled with experience within a Contracts or Account Managing position.

Office based with occasional customer visits as and when required.

£42,000 – £45,000 basic plus bonus
