Passive Fire Technical Consultant – South East England.

From £60,000.00 per year, Remote working

I am currently looking for someone with experience in the Passive Fire Protection industry. This person must have good technical knowledge and awareness of building construction methods, regulations, and modern methods of construction. The candidate will lead and convene passive working groups, lead projects, write articles and provide webinars.

The role is fully remote with potential to attend events in London and the odd visit to our Head Office.

• Conduct research and produce analysis and white papers on behalf of RISCAuthority

• Provide mentoring, coaching and technical support to both internal and external consultants as and when required.

• Attend and present talks at seminars, conferences and webinars.

• Provide support to the publications department including reviewing draft publications and preparing technical articles for the journal.

• Provide support to the executive and senior management teams as required

• Provide technical support to the sales and marketing department for proposition development.

• To run/convene the Passive Working groups.

Experience:

• At least 10 years’ experience of which 5 must have been in a senior fire safety consulting / advisory capacity.

• Ability to engage effectively with people internally and externally.

• A team player who can demonstrate a collaborative style of working that enhances business / project performance.

• Ability to lead by example and in a manner consistent the organisations policies, goals and values.

• Ability to deliver projects to the required standard on time.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• A relevant technical degree, preferably in fire engineering or a fire related discipline.
